Meridian Point retail park in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire is now home to 12 new high-powered electric vehicle (EV) charging points. The new hub will bolster the UK's growing EV charging infrastructure; improving local air quality, reducing noise pollution and supporting local decarbonisation efforts.

The 300kW rapid charge points are compatible with every EV on the market today and can typically add 100 miles of range in just 15-20 minutes, depending on the model of the vehicle and battery capacity.

Osprey Charging has designed its charge points to be simple to use and accessible. Payment can be made via Zap-Pay, making it easy to search, plan and pay for charging all within the Zapmap app.
Contactless payment is also available, as well as Apple/Google Pay, the Osprey App and RFID card payments.

“The roll-out of EV charging facilities is quickly gathering pace and we’re here to provide a reliable and rapid public charging service for all drivers, from Cornwall to the Scottish Highlands,” said Ian Johnston, CEO of Osprey Charging.

“Osprey now has over 1,000 charge points available to use across the UK, each carefully designed to maximise space, accessibility and made to the latest and highest standards. The new charging hub in Cleethorpes will form a vital part of the re-charging network that will enable the decarbonisation of transport in the UK.”

Zapmap and Osprey Charging share a live data partnership which enables users of the Zapmap app and web map to access the live status and availability information of any Osprey charge point at any time, making charging your EV even easier.
